THOUGHTS VERSUS FEELINGS IN INTERVIEWS.

THOUGHTS VERSUS FEELINGS IN INTERVIEWS.

The ability to distinguish between emotions which we refer to as ‘thoughts’ and body sensations which we refer to as ‘feelings’ is an important skill when it comes to job interviews.

Our thoughts and emotions in turn generate our opinions and assumptions.

They also set our mood and attitude.

You may ‘feel’ that you are ‘no good at job interviews’.

But that is not a fact; it is not a feeling like ‘anger’ or ‘frustration’, it’s an opinion coloured by a negative assumption; it’s a thought.

Remember, with practice thoughts can be controlled so approach interviews like any other professional meeting, in a positive frame of mind knowing exactly which points you wish to get across.
